The one that got away.

We all have something we regret. I let a great job in Alaska get away. Perhaps, when I get over it I can move on. It's hard when you are always wondering what if. I think the hardest part is knowing things would have been so different for us. In a few years I would have been director of my site. So, I’m going to try to focus on the here and now, and not the Assistant Director position that I let go. If I would have taken the job, I wouldn’t have written my books. So, I have to believe that everything happened for a reason. Although in my heart it will always be the one that got away.
